In Omaha, the flatness is nonexistent. I live up a hill. There are very few flat bits in the whole city. Just like how everyone things Colorado is all mountainous, but the entire eastern half of the state barely even undulates.

I work outside. Comes with the territory. Problem is, down here, the transition between winter to spring sucks. Flip flops temps. It settles and then gets hot fast. I adjust pretty quickly though.
